Ardmore exacted revenge on their bogey side Bonds Glen when they defeated them by 6 wickets on Saturday. Roy Robinson was well caught by Paul Brolly off Ciaran Curley for 6 with the score on 14. Colin McClelland and Keith Hamilton took the total to 35 before the wheels came off the Bonds Glen innings. Charlie Elder and Iftikhar Hussain ripped through the Bonds Glen side to leave them in disarray at 53 for 9. Elder finished with 5 for 17 and Hussain 3 for 5 in their ten over spells. Number 11 Noel McGinnis struck a spirited 19 before he was stumped by George Gillen off Dessie McCourt to leave them all out for 81.

In reply Ardmore lost Charlie Elder for 5 but Hussain and Mark Gillespie took the total to 41 before Hussain was lbw to J Curry for 12. Gillespie and Kevin Martin then both fell with the total on 60. However Ciaran Curley�s good form with the bat continued with himmblasting 2 fours and 2 sixes in an unbeaten 25. Ardmore now appear to be moving into top gear and on this form will be hard to beat.
