Coleraine v Burndennett

Burndennett kept up their title challenge when they overcame a few nerves to beat a severely weakened Coleraine side by 3 wickets. Batting first Coleraine could only manage 91. A McIntyre with 19 top scored, while Wilson Torrens made 14 and Stephen McCartney 11. Extras with 15 was the second top scorer. For Burndennett there was three wickets apiece for Stephen McCay and Mark Porter. In reply Burndennett were in deep trouble after a great spell of bowling by Gareth Godfrey who took 4 for 23 in his ten over stint. Indeed it took 19 not out from number 9 Brendan McGettigan which consisted of a single and three towering sixes to win the game. |
