Creevedonnell kept up the pressure on both Ardmore and Burndennett when had a 63 run win over close neighbours Killymallaght. Batting first Creevedonnell scored 244 for 8 with their top six batsmen all reaching double figures. Trevor Dougherty struck 4 fours and a six in his 48, while their main batsman this season Kris Dunn hit 4 fours and 6 sixes in his 58. Andy McFaul also got in on the act hitting 5 sixes in his 36. Former Creevedonnell player Nigel McKeegan took 4 for 44 and ex Donemana player Raymond Mitchell took 3 for 58.

All credit to Killymallaght they put a fight with Gordon McKeegan making a hard hit 42 containing 3 sixes and 4 fours and Raymond Mitchell hit 2 sixes and a four in his 39. Once they went the innings somewhat collapsed with Sachin Aradhye and Brian Dougherty taking 3 wickets apiece.
