Senior Two Ardmore defeated Burndennett in a play off to gain promotion to Senior
One. They scored 178 for 7 with Mark Gillespie making 67 not out and Charlie
Elder 54. In reply Burndennett made 144 with Gerry Mc Auley top scoring with
49, and Aidan Boyle hit 3 fours and 3 sixes in his 32. At one stage Burndennett
were coasting on 109 for 3 but Mark Gillespie with 3 for 24 and Iftikhar Hussain
with 4 for 24 produced a collapse.
The
Ardmore team which defeated Burndennett in a Play Off to Win the Senior Two
Trophy.
