Dutch national coach Peter Cantrell has announced a squad of 23 players to take part in winter training as the first stage of preparation for the 2007 World Cup.

Cantrell has gone for a blend of experience of youth, with a nucleus of players who played in the 2003 World Cup, several teenagers including the sixteen-year-old Alexei Kervezee, and several more in their early twenties.
