The draw has been made in Belfast for the 2006 ClubTurf Ulster Cup, and as usual has thrown up some intriguing ties. NW Senior Cup holders Glendermott have been drawn at home to joint NCU League champions Waringstown, while the holders of the competition, Strabane, face a tricky away tie at winners of the Cup in 2000, Lisburn. Bready have home advantage over 1999 winners, Instonians, while Brigade, who have won the competition twice in 2001 and 2003, face a tough clash at NCU kingpins, North Down, who won back in 2002. Ballyspallen entertain Downpatrick, while Limavady travel to Carrick. Last year's beaten finalists Ardmore host Bangor, while 2004 winners Donemana are drawn away at Cliftonville. The games take place on 21 May.
