Thirty three teams have entered next years Scottish Cup which means that one preliminary tie will be played on Sunday 14 May between ADP Dumfries and SMRH.

The First round proper will take place on Sunday 14 May (reserve date Sunday 28 May) and a few intriguing ties have been thrown up.

Holders Ferguslie will have home advantage as they look to retain the title but are likely to be given a severe test by fellow SNCL Premier Division rivals Uddingston.

In Edinburgh local rivals Grange and Heriots who have both won the competition in recent years will meet at Raeburn Place whilst across town Watsonians who passed Ayr in the SNCL will meet at Myreside. Greenock who have won Trophy three times in the last five years will fancy progressing to the second round when they entertain Stoneywood-Dyce at Glenpark

New comers to the SNCL St. Boswells face a difficult challenge when they play host to Premier Division champions Clydesdale, whilst near neighbours and Fife rivals Falkland and Freuchie meet at Scroggie Park, in what is likely to be a keenly contested tie.
