Kelburne's bowlers came to the party yesterday in Stirling to ensure that the old club retained their SNCL status for 2011, as they easily accounted for Strathearn in a play-off.

Batting first Kelburne found the going tough initially, and were reeling on 75-6, but were rescued by their overseas professional David Harper, whose innings of 70 enabled them to reach 180.

Ross McLean and Steve McLister then wreaked havoc in the Strathearn reply, with McLean claiming five wickets and McLister four.

Strathearn were skittled for just 83 much to the relief and delight of the Kelburne faithful.
