Brigade held their nerve to defeat fierce rivals Limavady in the Faughan Valley Challenge Charity Cup by two wickets, clinching the win with just two balls to spare.
The Roesiders scored 127 for 4 in their 20 overs, overcoming a sluggish start which saw them on 62 for 4 in the 13th over.
That was due to their skipper Andrew Riddles (42*) who shared in an unbroken stand of 65 with Mark McDaid (27*).
Brigade spinner Trevor Britton was the best of their bowlers taking 1-15, while captain Mark Simpson conceded just 18 runs in his spell.
In reply Iftikhar Hussain with 34 and Gareth McKeegan 24 looked to have put the Beechgrove side on course for an easy win, before Riddles intervened to take 3 quick wickets and suddenly the game was in the balance.
Despite the late rally, Brigade just got over the finishing line in front of a large crowd enjoying the glorious conditions at Bready.
At Magheramason, Brigade beat Limavady by 2 wickets
