Brigade moved clear at the top of Division 1 of the Billy Henderson Properties League after a 56 run win at Magheramason on Sunday.
Chris Dougherty and Trevor Britton relished the return to their old stomping ground as the pair opened Brigade's innings and posted a 57-run stand for the first wicket. Dougherty went on to make 55 but it took an entertaining knock of 57 from Ata-ur-Rehman to ease the visitors over the 200 mark in their 50 overs.
Having swatted Bonds Glen just a day earlier there will have been no shortage of confidence in the home camp and when Agha Sabir Ali and Dean Curry were together with the score 96 for 2, Bready's reply looked set fair.
The introduction of Rehman changed matters dramatically however as a burst from him and Iftikhar Hussein changed the scoreboard to 99 for 7.
After that it looked a matter of time and despite a cameo from Brian Scanlon who made 26, the hosts were all out for 146. Hussain and Rehman finished with identical figures of 3 for 30 and Trevor Britton chipped in with 2 for 7.
The win means that after just two rounds of matches in the top flight, Mark Simpson's side is now the only one yet to taste defeat.
Over at the Rectory Glendermott made hard work of seeing off a spirited Bonds Glen before eventually prevailing by 33 runs.
For once the big guns failed to fire for the home side and the Bee Gees will have been thrilled to have seen the back of Smyth, Silva and Averill with less than 100 on the board. A 106-run partnership between Bob Robinson (75) and skipper Gordon Montgomery (46) put Glendermott back in charge however, helping the hosts to 247 for 9 in their 50 overs.
Derek Curry was easily the pick of the bowlers as he claimed 4 wickets. Roy Robinson took the attack to the home side's bowling as he made an impressive 62 in reply but he could find few willing partners as wickets fell steadily at the other end.
It looked like a formailty as the visitors slumped to 156 for 9 but Richard Rodgers had other ideas and the Number 10 blasted 4 fours and 4 sives in an thoroughly entertaining half century.
Unfortunately for Bonds Glen however the last wicket fell 33 runs short despite the heroics and the Bee Gees are now the only side in the top flight yet to register a win.
