Bready could well be on course to capture the Faughan Valley Cup for the first time in their history after reaching the Tyrone Section final after a relatively comfortable six wicket win against Bonds Glen.

A solid bowling display saw David Scanlon (2-15), Brian Scanlon (2-18), and Agha Sabir (2-20) all capture two wickets apiece, and they were well supported by Marc Fleming (1-21) and Ian Young (1-25).

Only Richard Hepburn with 36 and Gary Hamilton (19) reached double figures for the visitors as their batting frailties continued.

An opening stand of 68 between Mark Olphert (41) and David Rankin (23) ensured the result was never in any doubt, despite a mini wobble which saw them lose four wickets for 24 runs.

Colin Hall (2-12) bowled well, taking the wickets of Mark Olphert and Agha Sabir (1), but Dean Curry (10*) and Ian Young (5*) saw the win achieved with 10 balls to spare.

Bready now await the winners of the Fox Lodge versus Donemana tie.
