Strabane moved two points clear of Brigade at the top of Senior One following a relatively comfortable 41 run win at Eglionton in their re-arranged league fixture.
Batting first, Niall McDonnell and kevin Martin shared an opening stand of 107 to give the Tyrone side a solid platform. Mc Donnell struck 4 sixes in his 62, while Martin hit 6 boundaries in his 45.
Strabane faltered slightly but Jonathan Beukes (17) and Mark Gillespie (11) saw them reach 168 for 6 in their 20 overs. Neil Stewart (3-28) and Steven McCloskey (2-31) were the most successful of the Eglinton attack.
In reply, Tommy Barr (2-13) removed Andy Christie and Ryan Butterworth cheaply, and from that point Eglinton seemed to settle for respectability rather than actually challenging the total.
Johnny Gardiner (38*), and Neil Stewart (34*) shared an unbroken fifth wicket stand of 69, to leave their final total 41 runs adrift on 127 for 4.
In the other scheduled league game, Coleraine had scored 153 for 2 in 35 overs when rain stopped play. It will now be played as a 20 over replay at a later date.
