Local cricket, and Limavady joined Brigade in second place in the Senior One league table after completing a surprisingly easy 7 wicket win.
An opening stand of 94 between Thomas Riddles and Adam McDaid set the foundations for the victory - Riddles struck four sixes and 4 fours as he top scored with 62 from 65 balls, including taking 25 from an over bowled by Dale Culbert.
McDaid anchored the innings with a patient 29, but it was an unbeaten 47 from Pakistan international Adnan Akmal which caught the eye - the wicket-keeper batsman struck 6 boundaries from just 39 deliveries, as LImavady won with 7.3 overs to spare.
There's action tonight in the Faughan Valley Cup - Limavady travel to take on Eglinton, while Donemana host Fox Lodge in the Tyrone Section. Play gets under way in both at 6:30pm
