Creevedonnell took another step towards their first appearance in the top flight of North West cricket for 30 years when recording a comfortable 6-wicket win at Killyclooney in Monday night's T20 game.
The hosts batted first but found the league leaders bowling difficult to handle and it took a hard hitting 33 from Alan Colhoun that included 4 sixes to help them scrape over the 100 mark.
Leighton McGarrigle with 3 for 11, Gary Neely 3 for 13, Ellis McGarrigle 2 for 22 and Nicky Cooke 2 for 29 all helped keep things tight and the visitors then had time to go after the target on the night.
Myles Neely gave them a solid start with 23 at the top of the order before a few quick wickets let the hosts back in, however an unbeaten 43 from skipper Stephen Scroggie that included 2 sixes and 6 fours ended the game with 7 overs still in the bank.
Creevedonnell know that a win at home to Ardmore on Saturday will now set them up to clinch the title hot on the heels of Saturday's Sammy Jeffrey win.
