Brigade have confirmed the departure of their opening batsman Chris Dougherty, who has informed the club he is moving to the NCU to play for CIYMS.
The 24 year old, who has played for Ireland at both A and Under 19 level, becomes the latest addition to the Belmont side, following the recent signings of Jeremy Bray, Ryan Butterworth and Taimur Khan.
Dougherty helped Brigade to the league title in 2011, scoring 853 runs at an average of 44.89 to finish 8th in the batting averages.
The Beechgrove side have also confirmed that Iftikhar Hussain is staying at the club despite a number of offers from other sides.
