Waringstown CC
- Captain - Kyle McCallan
- Professional - Glen Addicott
- Ins - none
- Outs - Steven and Keith Allen to Lisburn
It is a case very much of as you were for Waringstown in 2012, with the only addition being South African professional Glen Addicott from Kwazulu Natal Dolphins. He is a very prolific right hand top order batsman and useful seam bowler. He has an unenviable task stepping into the boots of fellow countryman Obus Piennar, but comes highly recommended by Adi Birrell and a number of sources in South Africa.
Club captain Kyle McCallan spoke with CricketEurope saying: "We are hoping to build upon a very successful year in 2011. There are lots of young talent to nurture at the club including Kris Lyness, a promising fast bowler, and batsmen Adam Dennison and Aaron Kennedy.
"Ireland Under 19 player Josh Hall has been ruled out in the medium term with a stress fracture of the back which is a blow, but we hope he will return by June."
There's no doubt Waringstown will face stiff competition in what is set to be a very tough NCU campaign, but it will be a major surprise if they don't capture at least one piece of silverware.
