Senior Two in the Leinster league had a fragmented look to it with the games between Cork County and Dublin University, and Malahide versus Phoenix falling victim to the weather.
In the games that did take place, a five wicket haul for Andrew Leonard helped Pembroke skittle Old Belvedere for 94. Off-spinner Paul Lawson also wreaked havoc, claiming 4-15. Kahn with 41 was the only batsman to make any sort of impact.
Pembroke took 20.1 overs to knock off the runs, losing four wickets in the process, with Zal claiming 3 for 20.
Shahid Iqbal's superb start to the campaign continued as he racked up 102 as Rush scored 278/8 in their 50 overs.
Niall Mullen (61*) and Sean Monks (54) also contributed half centuries, despite the best efforts of Rob Kenealy (3-38).
Leinster in reply scored a relatively respectable 166, with Dave Lucas (56) and Hussein (30) both batting well. Iqbal (6-15) tore the shreds out of the Leinster innings to leave Rush victors by 112 runs.
