The 2009 and 2010 Ulster Bank Schools Cup winners Foyle enjoyed a comprehensive start to their bid to capture yet another trophy, when they travelled to Campbell II's on Wednesday afternoon.

In a 30 overs per side game, Foyle scored 184-6, with Jamie Huey top scoring with 50 (5 fours, 1 six), receiving good support from skipper Andrew Fleming who struck five fours in his 46.

For Campbell II the pick of the bowlers were Paddy Hill (2-34) and Scott Montgomery (2-39).

In reply, Campbell were never in the hunt, being dismissed for just 67 in 28.3 overs, leaving Foyle victors by 117 runs.

Hayden Campbell picked up 3 for 8, while there were two wickets apiece for Ryan Curry (2-8), and Ethan Lapsley (2-13).

Campbell first team are in action on Friday against MCB starting at 1pm.
