Cricket Scotland has announced that Adam & Company, the Edinburgh based private bank, is the headline partner for this summers One Day International cricket match between Scotland and England. The match, to be held at the Citylets Grange, Edinburgh on Sunday the 12th of August, will also be screened live on Sky Sports.

The match, now called the Adam & Company One Day International, will be the third time that England have come to Scotland to play an official match. Their last visit, in 2010, resulted in a seven wicket victory for the visitors. The Adam brand will be highly visible on the day, and on all pre match advertising, in a major new sponsorship deal for the governing body.

Commenting on the announcement, Roddy Smith (Cricket Scotland Chief Executive) stated, We are thrilled that such a major Scottish private bank as Adam has agreed to sponsor this seasons big international cricket match. The support of the Scottish corporate community is vital to our ongoing success, and to have secured such a well-established and prominent Scottish partner as Adam for this game is a great boost. With the game being broadcast live throughout the UK, it will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase Scottish cricket. The support of Adam will be crucial in supporting the staging of the match.

Graham Storrie, Managing Director of Adam & Company commented: Were extremely proud to be supporting Cricket Scotlands One Day International here on home soil in Edinburgh. As well as being a great family day out, we recognise the importance of supporting organisations such as Cricket Scotland who do so much for developing the game across local communities. This includes delivering programmes to over 30,000 primary school children across Scotland, supporting the stars of tomorrow through their regional academy programmes, and successfully engaging girls and women in the typically male dominated game."
