It wasn't the best of season for Terenure who suffered relegation from the top flight of Leinster cricket after just one season, winning just two league games out of 13.
This comes just 12 months after finishing above Leinster to claim the Senior Two title in 2011 - how the clubs took vastly different routes since then.
It wasn't all doom and gloom as they recorded a memorable Irish Senior Cup win over three times winners Limavady - gaining some revenge for the 260 not out inflicted on them by Decker Curry in 1998 in their previous incarnation of CYM.
The batting stats tell a tale of woe with just four 50's in the entire campaign and no hundreds.
Ken McDonald topped the batting with just 321 runs at 21.40, while others worthy of a passing mention are Andre Botha 271 at 16.94, Colm Morgan 191 at 11.94 and Zander van der Merwe with 182 at 18.20.
The bowling was marginally better with Ken Brennan managing to make the top 20 in the LCU aggregates.
He captured 26 at just 14.69 including a match winning display against Limavady in the aforementioned Irish Senior Cup game.
Van der Merwe was next best with 14 at 25.78, while Daan van Zyl managed 13 at 17.23, and Andre Botha a bitterly disappointing 11 at 30.27.
Terenure will be hoping for much better fortunes in 2013 and hopefully they will be all the stronger for their season with the bigger clubs and learn from the experience.
