Malahide CC have confirmed the return of Fintan McAllister as their Academy Director ahead of the start of the 2013 season.

The club also confirmed that 26 year old McAllister will have a playing role at the club following his two year sabbatical in Australia and New Zealand.

The left-handed batsman/wicket-keeper started his career at Rusg before moving to Malahide where he was employed as a development officer.

The affable Dubliner made the last of his six senior appearances for Ireland back in May 2009 in the win against Worcestershire.
