Balbriggan Cricket Club have confirmed that Azhar Shafique who has previously represented Donemana Cricket Club with such distinction, has agreed to join them for season 2013.

Also Stefan Jones, a former English County player with Glamorgan among others counties, will also don the Balbriggan colours this year.

A club spokesman said `It is exciting times for the Club having gained Senior Status for the first time in our history. We are delighted that two such experienced players will take the field in Balbriggan colours this year.'
