Clontarf's quest for an instant return to top flight cricket shows no sign of slowing down after they crushed Terenure by a mammoth 210 runs.
Half centuries from Bill Coghlan (79), Alex Cusack (71) and Robert Forrest (53) saw Clontarf to 190 for 2, and entertaining cameos from Andre Botha (29), skiiper Eoghan Delany (26) and Joe Morrissey (25) saw then to an imposing 326 for 7.
Ben Hoey (3-60) and Etesham Ahmed (2-57) were the most successful of the bowlers.
In reply, Alex Cusack (4-30) and Joe Morrissey (2-26) removed the top order, and after Richie Lawrence had resisted briefly with 38, Zander van der Merwe (4-21) was too quick for the tail, as Terenure were skittled for 116.
Centuries from the prolific Ryan Gallagher (111) - his second of the season - and captain Callum Riches - his first in Senior cricket - helped Malahide to a daunting 351 for 5 against a beleaguered Leinster Seconds.
The Rathmines side had in their ranks 20 year-old Irish women's international Laura Delany - a first for Leinster cricket at this level.
The story doesn't have a happy ending though, as Delany was bowled without scoring - one of Ryan Gallagher's four victims. Former Scottish international Jim Govan also claimed four as Leinster II's managed just 83 - losing by 268 runs.
Dublin University's batting strength this season was also evident as they easily chased down a potentially tricky 215 to record a six wicket win at Balbriggan.
The prolific Richard Forrest struck 8 fours in his undefeated 86, and with Amin Anwar (51) and Josh Tasman-Jones (50) both scoring half centuries, the outcome was never in doubt.
Earlier Nathan Rooney had top scored with 48 in the Balbriggan total of 214 for 9, with Barry Archer (40), Dwayne Harper (36) and Adrian Harper (25) all chipping in.
The final match saw Merrion Seconds, much like their first XI, hold their nerve to beat Rush by 10 runs.
Ross Watkins hit 81 as Merrion scored 190, with three wickets apiece for Sadat Gul and Lynal Jansen.
17 year old Stuart McDonald, younger brother of Ronan hit a very stylish 40 and then followed it with four wickets as Rush were dismissed for 180 with nearly 20 overs unused.
Jansen with 65, and Shahid Iqbal (52) looked to have put Rush on course for a comfortable win, but a five wicket haul from Hugh Kennedy saw Merrion clinch a nervy contest.
With Clontarf looking unassailable in the title race, this result ensures the battle to avoid relegation mightn't be so clear cut.
