John Mooney was the star turn of the week as the CricketEurope judges selected their Leinster Team from performances in the last seven days.

Mooney's 5 for 13 was the stand-out display in a week where Leinster sides recent domination in the Irish Senior Cup showed little sign of fading.

That haul by Mooney included a first-ball dismissal of Kevin O'Brien as North County trounced Railway Union by 8 wickets.

The Merrion duo of John Anderson and Dom Joyce are both included after fine all-round displays in their narrow win over North Down.

The pair scored half centuries and took five wickets between them in an absorbing contest.

Holders The Hills scraped through in a low scoring battle with CIYMS - Nas Shaukat with 3 wickets and a priceless 30 runs impressed the panel to give him the nod.

Theo Lawson also makes the cut after his hundred for Pembroke in a losing cause.

There's a YMCA triumvirate with Simmi Singh's five wicket haul coming to the judges attention. He's joined by Albert van der Merwe, who made 78 in an unfamiliar opening role follwoing a hand injury to Reinhardt Strydom. Veteran Alan Lewis also makes the squad - could he finally win an Irish Cup medal in his twilight years?

The final four places go the Clontarf quartet of Joe Morrissey, Paul Ryan, Bill Coghlan and Andrew Poynter (12th man) who all contributed to a resounding win for the Castle Avenue side against Phoenix.
