Clontarf's promotion charge continues unabated as they completed an 191 run demolition of Merrion's second string on Saturday.
The Castle Avenue side racked up 282 with Gopal smashing 71 from 68 balls, and excellent cameos from Andre Botha (45), Zander van der Merwe (42), Amin Anwar (35) and Joe Morrissey (31).
Robbie Ensor claimed 3 for 21 while there were two wickets apiece for Bridge, Alex O'Brien and Rex Walsh.
The Merrion reply had a distinctly binary look to it beoing skittled for just 91. Only Kennedy with 41 and Ragahavan (32) offering any semblance of resistance.
The Clontarf bowlers shared the wickets with two apiece for Nazir, Morrissey, Van der Merwe and David Delany.
Terenure stay on the shoulders of Clontarf after scraping a one wicket win over Malahide. It took the last pair of Umar Jehangir and Ken Brennan to get the 12 runs needed after a day of batting collapses.
Chasing 190, Terenure looked well placed at 86 for 1 with Richie Lawrence (46) and Tom Fisher (31) well set. However three wickets for Paul Saville and Ryan Gallagher started the rot, and it took a typically swashbuckling 66 from just 45 balls (9 fours, 3 sixes) by Etesham Ahmed to get Terenure on course.
Earlier Malahide had coasted to 54 for 0 with Callum Riches (26) and Fintan McAllister (25), but three wickets from Ahmed and Daan Van Zyl saw them reduced to 87 for 7.
Andy Pyne (62) led a recovery to take them to 189 all out with teenager James Smith taking 2 for 17.
The final game saw Balbriggan gain their second win of the season against Rush.
An eighth wicket stand of 78 between Dwayne Harper (69*) and Adrian Harper (29*) saw their team to a three wicket win as they successfully chased 229.
