Matthew Allen and Hamish Emms shared an unbroken 207 partnership for the second wicket as South Australian St Peter's College crushed Leinster Under 17's by nine wickets.

South Australia Under 19 players Allen and Emms showed their pedigree as they made light work of what looked a decent Leinster total of 224.

Allen scored an unbeaten 125, hitting 12 fours and three sixes with shots all round the wicket.

Emms was content to keep the ball along the ground but still found the ropes 13 times in a superb exhibition of batsmanship from both.

Earlier half centuries from Lorcan Tucker (58) and Nathan Rooney (56) and a well made 31 from Tom Anders had allowed Leinster to score 224.

Skipper Tucker hit 9 fours and a six in his 58, while Rooney also didn't fancy running too many singles as he crashed ten boundaries.

In the end though that total of 224 proved nowhere near enough as a rampant St Peter's crusied to the easiest of wins.
