Honours were even in the two under-age games played at the scenic venue of the Mall in Armagh.
Charlie Johnston took 5 for 16 to bowl his Under 11 team to a 16 run win against the North. Earlier Tim Tector had top scored with 31 in their total of 88.
Patrick Carson (39), Marcus Poskitt (32) and Harry Warke (24) laid the foundations for a total of 145 for 7, with Shane Corbett (3-15) the pick of the Leinster Under 12 attack.
In reply, Leinster could only manage 97 all out with Sean Barry top scoring with 24.
Daniel Humphries was the best of the bowlers, taking 3 for 21, while Jacob Logan-Wilson 2 for 10.
There were no shortage of personalities on the sidelines cheering on their off-spring - although Trent Johnston was unable to cheer on Charlie due to Leinster Lightning coaching commitments, Stephen Warke was their, as was Ulster and Ireland rugby legend David Humphries.
