- Leading wicket-taker for Canada at the ICC Trophy 2001, taking 5-25 against
Scotland in the third and fourth place play-off.
- Represented Canada at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 where he took the
wicket of Adam Gilchrist and conceded just five runs from four overs against
India.
- Took his ODI best figures of 4-35 against Kenya in 2006.
- Returned to the Canada side after an absence of 18 months and took two wickets
against Bermuda in July 2008.
- Regarded as a strong hitter of the cricket ball in the lower order.

- A talented wicket-keeper who appeared in the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup 2000
for the Americas, where his one of his scalps was England batsman Ian Bell.
- Part of the Canada side that defeated Bangladesh at the ICC CWC 2003.
- Attended the ICC Winter Training Camp in 2006.
- Player of the tournament at the ICC World Cricket League Division One in 2007
where he scored centuries against Bermuda and Ireland.
- Played in all three matches for Canada at the ICC CWC and played an innings of
37 against New Zealand.

Geoff Barnett

- Born and raised in New Zealand, but has a Canadian mother.
- Run out in two of his first four ODIs.
- Scored his first ODI half-century against Bangladesh in 2007.
- Made 40 against his native New Zealand in the ICC CWC 2007, having also
scored 41 against Kenya.
- Averaged 25.24 in the 2007/08 State Shield competition for Central Districts and
scored two half-centuries, and averaged over 50 in the State Championship in the
2006/7 season.

John Davison
DOB: 9/5/70

- Moved to Australia as a child, playing grade cricket in Melbourne, before playing
state cricket for Victoria and South Australia.
- Scored a hundred off 67 balls against the West Indies at the ICC CWC 2003 and
also took 10 wickets in the event, including the wickets of Nathan Astle and
Graeme Smith.
- Made an impressive 52 from 31 balls against New Zealand in the ICC CWC
2007.
- Once took 17 wickets in a first-class match against the USA in 2004.
- Now works as a coach at the Australia's Centre of Excellence.
- This will be his first appearance for Canada since the ICC Intercontinental Cup
final in May 2007.

Sunil Dhaniram

- Played first-class cricket for Guyana, making his debut in the 1992/93 season,
before making his Canada debut in 2004.
- His first ODI half-century was in Canada's first-ever ODI win outside of ICC
CWC, when it defeated Bermuda at Potchefstroom, with his 63 coming off just 42
balls.
- Took eight wickets at the ICC World Cricket League in 2007.
- Impressed at the ICC CWC 2007 where he took 3-41 against England, including
the wicket of Kevin Pietersen.
- Captained the side for the ICC Intercontinental Cup in October 2007.

- Hobbies include volleyball and basketball.

- Younger brother of Fazil Samad, who has also played for Canada.
- Represented Canada at the U/19 level and made his senior debut in 2000.
- All-rounder made one appearance at the ICC CWC 2003 and appeared in all three
games at the ICC CWC 2007.
- Scored 119 against Bermuda on his first-class debut in the ICC Intercontinental
Cup in 2006.
- Made his first ODI century against Bermdua in July 2008, scoring 130.
