Steve Tikolo (captain) DOB: 25/6/71 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/OB	Is the only player to have appeared in all 23 of Kenya's matches in ICC CWC, scoring 724 runs at an average of 34.47. Has played in over 100 ODIs, 97 of them for Kenya, and has two ODI centuries. Second in the all-time list of leading wicket-takers for his country. Shortlisted for the inaugural ICC Associate ODI Player of the Year in 2007. Favourite cricketer is Sir Viv Richards.
Ragheb Aga DOB: 10/7/84 Batting/Bowling: RHB/RMF	Plays his domestic cricket for Sussex, through his British passport Former skipper of the U/19 Kenya side. Appointed as Kenya captain during 2004. Member of the squad at the ICC Champions Trophy 2004, taking 2-17 against Pakistan. He last played senior cricket for Kenya in 2004.
James Kamande DOB: 12/12/78 Born: Muranga Batting/Bowling: RHB/OB	First appeared for Kenya in the ICC CWC 1999 in England. Scored his first ODI half-century against Canada in 2006. Took 2-20 against Scotland in the ICC World Cricket League Division One final in January 2007. Recorded figures of 3-48 against Sri Lanka in the ICC World Twenty20 2007. Enjoys football and skating in his spare time.
Alex Obanda DOB: 25/12/86 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/RM	Represented Kenya at the U/17 level at the age of just 14. Selected for the Africa X1 in the Afro-Asia Cup in Chennai in 2007. Played in both the matches at the ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa, scoring 21 against Sri Lanka. Favourite cricketer is Ricky Ponting. Hobbies include playing football.
Collins Obuya DOB: 27/7/81 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/LB	Played for Warwickshire in the 2003 Twenty20 competition in the UK, taking five wickets against Glamorgan. Helped Kenya to victory over Sri Lanka at the ICC CWC 2003, taking 5-24. Now only plays for his country as a specialist batsman. Favourite cricketer is Brian Lara. Hobbies include swimming, hockey and football.
David Obuya DOB: 14/8/79 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB	Brother of Collins Obuya and Kennedy Otieno. Scored 271 runs at the ICC World Cricket League Division One in 2007, including 93 in the final against Scotland. Struggled with the bat at the ICC CWC 2007, making five runs in two matches. Played in both the matches at the ICC World Twenty20 2007. Favourite cricketer is Moin Khan.
Nehemiah Odhiambo DOB: 7/7/83 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/RMF	Is the brother of Lameck Ngoche. Took five wickets in an innings on his ICC Intercontinental Cup debut in 2006. Scored his first ODI half-century against Ireland at the ICC World Cricket League Division One in January 2007. Favourite player is Brian Lara. Enjoys hiking, watching movies and reading in his spare time.
Thomas Odoyo DOB: 12/5/78 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/RM	Won the ICC Associate ODI Player of the Year award at the ICC Awards in Johannesburg in 2007. During the ICC CWC 2007, he became the first Associate player to complete the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets in ODIs He has played in all four ICC CWCs that Kenya has participated in, making his debut as a 17-year-old at the CWC 1996 in Asia. Only player to date to have taken 100 ODI wickets for Kenya Favourite cricketer is Malcolm Marshall.
Peter Ongondo DOB: 10/2/77 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/RM	Leading wicket-taker at the ICC World Cricket League in 2007, taking 15 wickets. One of only three Kenyan players to have taken 50 ODI wickets. Although he is a lower-order batter, he was tried as a pinch-hitter in the ICC CWC 2003 semi-final against India. He is regarded as one of the jokers in the team. Favourite cricketer is Brian Lara.
Elijah Otieno DOB: 3/1/88 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/RM	Has played for Kenya U/19 and Kenya 'A'. His occupation is a full-time student. Part of the Kenya squad at the ICC World Twenty20 2007 but didn't play a match. Enjoys swimming in his spare time.
Kennedy Otieno DOB: 11/3/72 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB	Brothers, David and Collins Obuya, are also part of the Kenya squad for this event. His first two ODI centuries came against Bangladesh. Key member of the Kenya squad that reached ICC CWC 2003 semi-final, scoring half-centuries against Sri Lanka and India. Played club cricket in Australia in 2006/07 but missed the ICC CWC 2007 and the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 event. Enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
Maurice Ouma DOB: 8/11/82 Born: Kiambu Batting/Bowling: RHB/OB/WK	Played for Kenya at the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup in 2000 and 2002. On his ODI debut he scored 49 against India at the ICC Champions Trophy 2004. Made his maiden first-class century in the Logan Cup in Zimbabwe in 2007. Scored consecutives ducks at the ICC World Twenty20 2007. His favourite Twenty20 stroke is a pull-shot.
Rakep Patel DOB: 12/7/89 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/OB	Plays club cricket for Nairobi Gymkhana. The batsman has yet to play an ODI. Favourite cricketer is Rahul Dravid. Enjoys snooker, table tennis and swimming.
Ondik Suji DOB: 5/2/76 Born: Nairobi Batting/Bowling: RHB/RM	Played in the 1999, 2003 and 2007 ICC CWCs. Brother of Martin Suji. Scored a first-class century against Bermuda at the ICC Intercontinental Cup in 2005. Member of the Kenya squad at the ICC World Twenty20 2007 but didn't play a game.
Hiren Varaiya DOB: 9/4/84 Born: Mumbai, India Batting/Bowling: RHB/SLA	Took a wicket with his first ball in ODI cricket when he dismissed Canada's Ashish Bagai. Took 22 wickets for Kenya Select X1 in the Logan Cup in 2006/07. Managed to claim just one wicket in three appearances at the ICC CWC 2007. Played in both games at the ICC World Twenty20 2007 and took the wicket of Shoaib Malik. Favourite cricketer is Sachin Tendulkar.
