All Section 2 Clubs are reminded that training on the application of the Duckworth Lewis sysytem will take place next week.

The 2007 NCU AGM agreed to extend the Premier League playing regulations to Division 1 Section 2.
Therefore most of the Section 2 clubs will be using the Duckworth Lewis method in matches for the first time.

Where matches are interrupted and overs are lost the match result will be determined using the Duckworth Lewis system.  It is the responsibility of the home club to ensure that par score tables are produced as required.

Training has been arranged specifically for the Section 2 Clubs but can also serve as a refresher for all clubs in the Premier League and Section 2.

A training course has been arranged as follows:
Monday 18 February 2008 at 7.30pm in Shaw’s Bridge

For anyone unable to attend on this evening the course will be repeated on:

Wednesday 5 March 2008 at 7.30 pm in Shaw’s Bridge

It is recommended that Clubs should have at least two people trained to operate the D/L program.  It is also recommended that these operators should not be the scorer in the match.

Club representatives should bring a laptop so that the program (Coda70) can be installed at the course.

Whilst the training sessions are primarily for Section 2 clubs other interested parties (Premier League Clubs / Scorers / Umpires) are invited to come along.

In order to make detailed arrangements could you please email ncu.results@ntlworld.com  to confirm the night you will be attending.

For anyone who cannot attend these sessions or wishes to install the program on a dedicated desktop pc please also contact the above address so that alternative arrangements can be made.
