It was great sadness that I learnt today of Peter's death on Sunday.

Peter was a faithful, dependable, and hard-working member of CSNICC and was responsible for the design and maintenance of their website and the archiving of all the CSN records and  those of the NICC and Belfast Harlequins clubs.

In addition to being the CSNICC regular scorer he also  scored numerous International and Inter-Provincial matches.

Peter had designed his own computerised scoring program and was a great help to me with his scorecards for CSNICC and the other matches in which he was involved.  In particular,  his archives of the performances of Irish internationals in club cricket at North, Belfast Harlequins and Civil Service North are an invaluable resource for all cricket researchers.

Just last Saturday Peter had attended the Annual conference of Ireland Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers in Monaghan.

Our thoughts go out to his brother and sister and to his wider family circle at this sad time.

Peter's funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday 28th February at Roselawn.
