Former Irish selector and umpire, Edwin Vincent passed away on Thursday 5th November in Cork.
In addition he was President of Cork County CC during the 80's and acted as the Club's Secretary during much of the 1970's.
His Requiem Eucharist was held in St FinBarre's Cathedral on Monday, 9th November followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 3pm.
Former Irish international umpire Paddy O'Hara paid tribute saying: "Hugely saddened to learn this morning of the death of Edwin Vincent. Regarded by many as one of the men largely responsible for the formation and development of the Munster Cricket Umpires Association and their subsequent training.
"He will be greatly missed. My sympathy goes out to his family and to his colleagues in Cork County."
