Four of Jersey's most promising young bowlers will travel to Dubai for a 7 day training camp from 20th -27th February.
Senior Jersey Squad players Ben Kynman, Rhys Palmer, Elliot Miles & James Duckett will travel with Jersey Head Coach Neil MacRae to use the training facilities at the ICC Academy.
As part of the training camp the Jersey bowlers will join practice sessions as net bowlers for the West Indies squad which will be in Dubai preparing for the T-20 World Cup in March.
Neil MacRae commented "Following the success of the Jersey Senior team winning European Division 1 and performing well at the Global T-20 qualifiers in Ireland last summer we're keen to develop the quality and depth of our squad. We've highlighted four young bowlers who are under the age of 21 who will benefit from the experience of bowling in Asian style conditions in Dubai. All four have been working hard on strength & condition bowling programmes since October and will benefit from the opportunity of warm weather bowling at an excellent facility against a high standard of batsmen."
