Dutch internationals Sterre Kalis and Miranda Veringmeier will join Essex and Worcestershire respectively for the NatWest Women's County T20 this season.
Opening bat and keeper Veringmeier, who signed for Worcestershire, is at 23 already a senior player in the Dutch side. Veringmeier, of Hermes DVS, made her debut for the national team at 15 and has since won 98 caps for the Netherlands, including 15 ODIs and 8 T20Is.
Batting all-rounder Kalis, who joins Essex, has also established herself as a regular in the national side over the last two years. Having made her debut in 2014 at the age of 14 Kalis has turned out for the national side some 23 times in the English Women's One-Day Cup and T20 competition, as well as the Women's WT20 Qualifier.
