It was back to league action this week in the women's game and current champions, Strabane Saints kept up their winning ways with victory over Newbuildings.
Batting first against they scored 118 and then managed to put the visiting side out for 44.
Best with the bat was former Irish international Julie Logue with an outstanding 58 while the bowling honours went to N Mullen with figures of 4-14 off 4 overs.
In the other games Fox Lodge played host to Bready in another Tyrone derby. Having been put into bat, The Foxies got off to a confident start by running up a score of 90 due to fantastic batting from Sarah Black (37*) and Ashleigh McGuinness (15).
Chasing their modest target an opening partnership of 80 runs between Alana Dalzell (38) and Steph Wilkinson (25) helped the visitors achieve the total with the loss of just one wicket, allowing the Magheramason girls gain their first victory of the season.
At Eglinton, Donemana defeated their hosts with another comfortable victory.
Batting first, Eglinton got off to a disappointing start by losing opening batters, Alterine Dunlop (8) and Megan McClintock (1) for a total of 12 runs.
Next to the crease, R Moore (16) and Emma Martin (7) steadied things up and helped the hosts gain a final total of 58.
Donemana’s reply got off to a great start with openers, Leanne Olphert (34) and Angel Laird (13) steering the Donemana to their first victory of the season with the loss of no wickets.
Elsewhere we saw Killyclooney play host to local rivals Bonds Glen that was sure to be a tight competition between the two traditional rivals.
After losing the toss, the Bee Gees were put into bat first and got off to a great start with batswomen, Karen Hazlett (45*) and Kylie McGarrigle (26) steering the total to 92 for the loss of 2.
In reply Killyclooney got off to an excellent start with a great display of batting from Charlene Dougherty (20) but unfortunately failed to reach the total by seven runs allowing the BeeGee ladies achieve their first victory of the season.
Strabane have a chance to keep their title hopes going next week when they play Donemana , while the other games see Bready play Eglinton, Bonds Glen play host to Fox Lodge and Newbuildings set off to travel to Killyclooney.
