A superb all-round performance from Paddy Beverland led Campbell into the semi-finals of the Ulster Bank Schools Bank with a four wicket win against Ballymena.

John Glass top scored with 68, and Johnny Browne chipped in with 26 as Ballymena posted a competitive 154 for 8 in their 35 overs.

Adam McCormick bowled superbly to return 4 for 14, with Beverland taking 3 for 25.

The Campbell reply was all about Beverland who dominated the successful chase with a masterly unbeaten 89.

He received excellent support from Malcolm Corry who scored 31.

Owen Dick (3-24) was best with the ball for Ballymena.

Campbell join Grosvenor in the semi-final draw with holders BRA hosting Foyle today (THUR), and Limavady taking on RBAI tomorrow in the remaining two quarter-final ties.
