Ryan Eagleson's five wicket haul led Carrickfergus into the semi-final of the Challenge Cup as they beat Muckamore.
The game continued from where it had been abandoned on Saturday after the collapse of wicket-keeper Gorodn Browne - now thankfully recovered.
Former Irish international Eagleson now bowls gentle off-spin, but here at Moylena he proved unplayable to claim a Man of the Match 5 for 12 as Muckamore were bundled out for just 76 chasing 160.
Ashwin Shetty also bowled well to claim 3 for 10. Carrick will now take on holders CIYMS at Belmont next Saturday in the semi-final, with Waringstown entertaining CSNI in the other.
The game will long be remembered by the sportmanship exhibited by Muckamore - they may have lost the game, but have won great admiration from the cricket community for their actions.
Muckamore lost to Carrickfergus by 83 runs. Moylena, 18 June, continued on 24 June.
