IRELAND WOMEN TO PLAY BANGLADESH AT SHAWS BRIDGE
Ireland Women will play Bangladesh Women today (FRI) and tomorrow (SAT) in two One-Day Internationals at Shaws Bridge (10:30am).
Today's match is an extra fixture requested by Bangladesh after Thursday's scheduled ODI at Bready was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
A Cricket Ireland spokesperson said: "Unfortunately the recent poor weather in the North West meant that not only was Thursday's game abandoned, but also that there was little chance of play at Bready on Saturday.
"We are extremely grateful to the Shaws Bridge Sports Association for their help in facilitating these two matches at such short notice."
Both ODI's will be 50 over contests and will count towards the combined KPC Group Women's Series score.
