MANNY FERNANDEZ NAMED AS NEW COACHING CO-ORDINATOR FOR SPAIN.

                                                                         

                                                                                                      

 

Manny Fernandez was recently confirmed the new coach co-ordinator for Spain. The Madrid CC player, who has represented Spain numerous times was appointed unanimously by the Cricket España directorate and he will start with immediate effect.

Manny will be responsible for co-ordinating coaching throughout Spain and allocating the budget for various coaching projects for the 2011 season. Currently, high on the agenda for Spain are a level 2 coaching course, and possibly regional level 1 courses, subject to finances being available.

Manny will work closely with the Director of cricket George Wambeek, the Junior director of cricket Neil Brook, and the National team coach Bobby Denning. One of Manny´s first duties will be to represent Cricket España at the forthcoming "ICC Changing the Game Confrence" to be held in Guernsey early next year.
