Christmas cricket at La Manga

La Manga Cricket Club had a fun Boxing Day with friends, family, seniors and juniors all turning out for a cricket match at the Murcia based ground.

The event, organised by La Manga stalwarts and CE directorate members George Wambeek and Neil Brook brought together various members for a fun day of cricket amongst the La Manga Cricket Club faithful.

Both teams were a mixture of players of all standards from within the club, and the result of this interclub match was academic, with the onus being on involving all the family in the event which the club are hoping will become an annual event on the La Manga calendar.

Mince pies and Christmas turkey were laid on at the ground at the interval and the good turn-out proved that commitment to cricket at La Manga is all year round.
