Several enthuisiastic cricketers are looking to start a new club in Sevilla. Already, they have an established facebook page and posters have gone up in the city advertising the club.

There areĀ tentative plans to hold a coaching session inĀ March and they have received an invitation from Cricket Espańa to play a friendly when they are up and running.

Currently, there are three teams in the Southern league, Combined Colleges, Malaga and Cordoba with the possibility of a fourth team Fuengirola CC joining the set up this year. Combined Colleges also recently acquired their own ground so cricket is going from strength to strength in that part of Spain.
