Limavady kept their title hopes alive when they completed a 76 run win against Bready. Resuming on 143 for 4, the dismissal of Steven Clarke for 64 proved crucial, as Bready capitulated thereafter losing their last 6 wickets for just 16 runs to finish on 172 all out. There were two wickets apiece for Richard McDaid, Nigel Thompson and Andrew Riddles, but it was spinner Simon Dunn with 4 for 34 who did the damage.

The win takes Limavady to 26 points, two behind leaders Brigade, but with a game in hand - also against Bready, which is due to be played on Sunday.

In Senior Two, Creevedonnell reached 118 for 6 in 26 overs in their vital league game at The Nedd before bad light stopped play. Nicky Cooke is unbeaten on 41, while skipper Steven Scroggie made 26 - Gareth Burns with 3 for 26 was the pick of the Nedd attack. Play resumes tonight at 6:30pm, where a win would give Creevedonnell the title and promotion.

Ireland A beat Hampshire Seconds yesterday with NW players playing a prominent role - Limavady's Stuart Thompson scored 97 not out, and Strabane's Phil Eaglestone claimed 4 for 29 as Ireland won by an innings and 71 runs. The sides meet again today in a 40 over game.
