Half centuries by Peter Eakin and Adam Dennison were the highlights of the Ireland Under 19 eight wicket win over the 17's at Stormont.
North Down all-rounder Eakin, who played a starring role for the Northern Knights at the weeking, struck 60 from just 56 balls (8 fours) as the 19's easily chased down a below par total of just 141 by the Irish Under 17's.
Eakin shared an opening stand of 76 with Darren Nicol (17), while Jack Balbirnie (43*) and James McCollum (25*) added an unbroken 66 as they raced to victory.
Earlier, Waringstown's Adam Dennison had been the one batsman in the 17's ranks to cope with both the 19's attack and a pitch which kept low and slow at times.
Ru Jones (3-28), Ross Allen (3-36) and Bobby Gamble were the pick of the 19's bowling.
