The tournament was due to be held at Prestwick CC on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th August.

Due to heavy rain which has flooded the Prestwick ground, and after exploring all possible alternatives, the organisers have decided, very reluctantly, to cancel this year's tournament.

The tournament was organised for the first time in 2012 to fill the considerable void left when the popular Lord’s Taverners’ Inner Cities Competition at Arundel was discontinued.

The Belfast team had won the tournament in its first two years, picking up the Charlie Beverland Memorial Cup, and were looking forward to defending their title.
