As Jersey and France played it out on the top pitch, a century opening stand (140) between CJ Peatfield (109) and Will Thompson (57) set Guernsey on their way to a total of 237-3 that would be too much for host country Spain and would guarantee an all-Channel Islands denouement to the championship.
