Played for Ireland from 1973 to 1987, after which he became a national selector and chairman of the Irish Cricket Union's Cricket Committee. Gave up his career as an academic computer scientist in 1997 to concentrate on cricket web publishing.

Rod Lyall

A recently-retired professor, Rod has been a club scorer in Australia, Scotland and The Netherlands, where he now resides. As a student he worked as scorer/statistician for the ABC in his native Perth. He has served as statistician for several European tournaments.

Barry Chambers

Barry is also the cricket correspondent for BBC Radio Foyle, and writes regularly for the Belfast Telegraph, Derry News, Londonderry Sentinel and Strabane Chronicle. His photographic work is featured extensively throughout the site.

David Potter

Played for Strathmore before taking up umpiring - umpired Scotland v Australia in Edinburgh in 1997. He was the Scottish Cricket Union's Operations Manager for a number of years.

Born and brought up in Kenya, Nick now lives in Sydney where he is associated with the Australian arm of Kricket 4 Kenya, but returns home to Kenya whenever possible. He started the Kenya Cricket blog before joining Cricket Europe and hopes to build a career in journalism/novel writing.

Born in England but went to Denmark. Played mostly for Aarhus and has umpired international matches. Member of the Danish Cricket Board 1997-2005 and founded the DCF website in 1997 which he still runs.

John worked for 5 years with the Northern Ireland Cricket Association. A former international umpire, he is member of the ICC Europe Elite Tournament Referees Panel. Manages the Ireland and NCU stats zones and his photography is widely featured on the site.

Since 2004 has been attempting to increase awareness of the non-Test game on the Internet, and co-founded the Beyond The Boundary blog in 2006. Has also contributed to almost 500 cricket articles on Wikipedia, the vast majority covering non-Test cricket.

Fell in love with cricket when he was in London during the 2001 Ashes. Hopes to graduate from the University of Toronto in 2008 and go on to graduate studies in Psychology, but harbours a dream of finding a career in sports journalism.
