It was a wonder that the weekend's matches were played at all due to plenty of rain throughout the country. In Copenhagen two matches were moved to Glostrup's and Svanholm's grounds which can handle the rain much better. At Glostrup the home team were in trouble against the bottom side AB. The match
reduced to 40 overs a side where AB batted first under difficult conditions scoring 120 all out. Glostrup's Aftab
Ahmed took 4 for 28 as the main destroyer. What should have been an easy task for the Glostrup batsmen turned into a quagmire as Glostrup lost the four wickets for 27 in reply. Bashir Shah is back from Pakistan strengthening AB's bowling attack. Glostrup were saved by a 50 run partnership for the sixth wicket between David Borchersen and Michael Jeppesen as Glostrup passed AB's score having lost eight wickets in all.

Player/coach Ole Mortensen commented that this match was a wake up call for Glostrup as they really had to fight for victory. He also thought that AB with Danish national player Bashir Shah was too good to be relegated.

Norrebro had no problems in persuading Svanholm in using their ground for their match as Norrebro's ground is notoriously bad in windy and rainy conditions with no comfort for the scorers at all. The match was reduced to 45 overs and Svanholm were without Bobby Chawla and Thomas Hansen who both don't expect to play again this season due to injuries. Norrebro batted first and were bowled out for 143. Svanholm with 4 youth
players surpassed the score with 4 wickets in hand. Hassan Rashid scored 50.

Saturday Herning played against Esbjerg where Herning were very dependent on Michael Pedersen’s batting and bowling. They were without Mogens Christiansen who is injured so it was important for Michael to have a decent score. It's not easy when partners come and go and Michael came in at no 3 was out as no. 8 scoring 38 out of Herning's 87. Esbjerg's Hamad Zamann was the destroyer taking 4 for 13. Esbjerg had batted first scoring 176 with inform Jesper Hansen making 63. Esbjerg's victory keeps them intention for a medal at the top

In the first division there was no significant surprises in the results except that bottom placed Aalborg beat Fredericia by a considerable margin leaving the relegation battle wide open. KB are certain to return to the top tier while Albertslund hang on second place.
