Associate cricket will have a representative in the winner takes all $20 million match between the Stanford Superstars and England in November.

Lennox Cush, who played for the USA in the 2006 Americas Championship and in the World Cricket League Division Five tournament earlier this year, has been named in the Stanford Superstars squad alongside the likes of Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Dwayne Bravo.

Cush has played for his native Guyana in both Stanford 20/20 tournaments and his off-spin bowling has often been useful. In the 2008 semi-final he took three wickets for just eight runs, opening the bowling no less. In all, he has taken eight wickets at 16.75 in Twenty20 cricket.

He recently played in several trial matches at the Stanford Ground in Antigua, taking three wickets at 24. The performance was enough for him to be named as one of two spinners in the Stanford squad along with Dave Mohammed.

As the match is not an official international, playing will not affect his eligibility for the USA, and he should still be available for the USA when they host the Americas Championship in Florida later this year.

As well as the big money match against England, the Stanford Superstars will also play Stanford 20/20 champions Trinidad & Tobago along with English Twenty20 Cup winners Middlesex - set to feature Ireland international Eoin Morgan and former Irish international Ed Joyce.
