There will be no cricket on the Island this weekend after the Bermuda Cricket Board decided to cancel all the matches.
The threat of Hurricane Bill forced the BCB’s hand, and as well as cancelling the domestic schedule, they have also cancelled two one-day games the national team was due to play against Uganda.
“Due to the adverse weather conditions expected to arrive this weekend associated with Hurricane Bill, the BCB would like to announce that all domestic cricket has been cancelled and games will be recorded as no result,” said a cricket board spokesman.
“It has also been decided to cancel Saturday and Sunday’s 50 over games, while Monday’s Twenty20 match will be changed to a 50 over game starting at 2 p.m.”
