The ACC have announced their tournament schedule for 2010. The under-15 and under-17 tournaments have been scrapped and replaced by an under-16 tournament for next year, whilst the two divisions of the ACC Trophy will again be played, as will the under-19 women's championship.

But the main ACC tournament for 2010 will be the Asia Cup. However, only the four Asian full-members will be playing in the tournament, despite the ACC announcing that the ACC Trophy Elite finalists Hong Kong and the UAE would participate in the 2010. CricketEurope e-mailed the ACC asking for the reason why no associates were taking part, but none was forthcoming.

It will be the first Asia Cup to not feature associate qualifiers since the first in 1984. Bangladesh played as a full member in 2000 but had qualified from the 1998 ACC Trophy.

Two tournaments still remain in 2009 - the ACC Twenty20 Cup in the UAE, and the Under-19 Challenge Cup in Thailand.
